Terms of service

These are the standard terms under which AtomToApp quotes and delivers work. A signed quote or contract for a specific project takes precedence over anything here.
1. Quotes and scope
Every engagement starts with a written quote that defines the scope, deliverables, milestones, prices and dates. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2. Payment
Projects start on receipt of the deposit stated in the quote (normally 30%). Remaining amounts are invoiced per milestone after you have reviewed the milestone. Invoices are issued in USD unless agreed otherwise and are due within 14 days. Platform engagements (for example Upwork) follow that platform’s payment terms instead.
3. Acceptance
Each milestone is demonstrated and delivered for review. If we hear no objections within 7 days of delivery, the milestone is treated as accepted. Defects reported within that window are fixed at no extra cost.
4. Intellectual property
You own the deliverables: source code, design files, documentation and related intellectual property transfer to you on payment of the invoice for the milestone that produced them. We keep the right to use our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and to describe the engagement in general terms in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
5. Confidentiality
Information you share about your business and product is kept confidential and used only to deliver the work. We sign your NDA or provide ours on request. Client code, data and credentials are never published.
6. Changes and cancellation
You may change direction or stop at any milestone. Work completed up to that point is invoiced; unspent deposit for work not started is refunded. We may pause work if an invoice is more than 14 days overdue.
7. Third-party services and hardware
Fees for third-party services (cloud hosting, app store accounts, component purchases, PCB fabrication, shipping) are paid by you, either directly or as pass-through costs on our invoice, and are not included in our quote unless stated.
8. Warranty and liability
We warrant that deliverables will match the agreed specification for 30 days after acceptance and will fix any deviation in that period. Beyond that, support is available under a maintenance plan. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We are happy to agree alternative terms in a signed contract for larger engagements.
