Software & Backend
Factory provisioning station (Rust, Tauri, React)
AIOapp Inc. · Senior Hardware Associate · 2026
A desktop application plus an Arduino jig that flashes, fuses and provisions devices on the production line with one click: EDL/QDL flashing, secure-boot fusing, serial programming and keybox/RKP certificate provisioning.
The problem
Provisioning a device by hand took several tools and many manual steps per unit, with room for mistakes in serial numbers and security fusing.
What was done
- ✓Tauri desktop app (Rust backend, React front end) with an axum service for the line
- ✓Arduino-based jig to put devices into EDL and drive QDL flashing automatically
- ✓Secure-boot fusing and serial-number programming over AT commands and ADB
- ✓Keybox and RKP CSR provisioning flow
Evidence
Screens from the app (mock backend; company logo and serial numbers blurred)
- Station 0: flash + secure-boot fuse
- Station 1: serial programming, 4 boards in parallel
- Station 2: keybox, RKP CSR, user firmware
- English + Simplified Chinese UI
49-second tour: pick Station 1, boot the boards, flash serials, then Station 2 verifies the mapping (mock backend; serials and logo masked)1 / 4
Outcome
One-click provisioning on the production line; fewer manual steps and fewer mistakes per unit.
